We’ve all seen road rage, and it’s an ugly sight to see while you’re out and about, driving around town. While it’s certainly an unsightly thing to witness, road rage can also be quite deadly. Since 1975, data about fatal car crashes has been collected into a federal database called the Fatal Analysis Reporting System. After years of collection, the company Auto Insurance Center has taken a look at all the data to determine the deadliest states when it comes to road rage – take a look.

Rob!/Flickr Auto Insurance Center was on a mission - to find out as much as they possibly could from all the data collected into the Fatal Analysis Reporting System. The company set out to find out where, when and how road rage accidents end up taking place, and this is what they found.
According to the report, nationally speaking the deadliest months for road rage accidents were July and September, with November, December, and January being the least deadly. The study also found that Sundays (specifically at 10 p.m.) was the most deadly day of the week when it came to road rage accidents, with Monday incredibly close behind.
Now, onto the list. Here are the deadliest states:
Indiana
Colorado
South Carolina
Alabama
