With the weather starting to dip, it’s the perfect time to get outside and spend some time at one of our beautiful parks around the city. New Orleans has dozens of beautiful, scenic parks peppered throughout the city, and you should carve out some time to explore them.
- City Park
New Orleans City Park/Facebook This 1300-acre park has so many attractions, you’re going to need a full day to explore it. Take a peaceful stroll through the sculpture garden, sit underneath an ancient oak tree, or spend some time at the botanical garden for a delightful day. The park also has several family-friendly attractions, like Storyland and the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park, which includes a historic antique carousel commonly referred to as the “flying horses.” Address: 1 Palm Dr., New Orleans, LA 70124
