- Twin Caves Trail
AllTrails/Ambyr Brosmer This Southern Indiana trail is located at Spring Mill State Park around the town of Mitchel. Locals come here to run, walk their dogs, and enjoy the views. You’ll find this amazing set of caves along the 2.2-mile loop trail.
- Wolf Cave Trail
AllTrails/Jenny Blocker Our next cave trail is located near Spencer at McCormicks Creek State Park. Another loop trail, this one is 1.9 miles and is primarily just for hiking. Hoosiers love a calm, relaxing walk or run to the cave along this path.

AllTrails/Steve Lilly Part of Turkey Run State Park in the west central region of Indiana, this is one of the most popular cave trails in the state. Located near the town of Howard, this trail is 2.1 miles full circle.
- Clifty Falls 8, 3, 4, 5 Loop
AllTrails/Scott Lane This immaculate five-mile trail is located in the southeast corner of the state in Clifty Falls State Park near the town of Madison. It is available year round for all sorts of adventures and nature trips.
- McCormicks Creek Trail
AllTrails/Crystal Bray The main trail at this fabulous state park near Spencer is fairly well-known and contains somewhat difficult terrain. The loop trail is 4.2 miles and also leads to a waterfall.
- Leonard Springs Nature Park Loop
AllTrails/Ste7 Of1 This 1.1-mile loop trail in Van Buren is accessible for all skill levels and takes hikers past a river, wildlife, and other amazing nature attractions in addition to this cave. As it is lesser known, you may find that this is the most peaceful of cave trails in the state.
