If you’ve been anywhere near LaGuardia Airport in New York City then you already know that this place has been under major construction for quite some time now. There has been tons of commotion taking place over the last two years during the construction of Terminal B, but Governor Andrew Cuomo has made another announcement that will ease the pain of this on-going project.

Shake Shack/Facebook This week, Governor Cuomo made the announcement that a delicious food hall will be coming to LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B. Opening in phases starting at the end of this year, the brand new food hall is just one piece of the massive $8 million makeover the airport’s been undergoing. When the expansive construction of Terminal B is completed, it will house 50 new restaurants as well as shops.
So far, a total of six restaurants have been named as part of Terminal B’s food hall. Governor Cuomo stated that the decision to pick which restaurants would go in the food hall came after extensive research and feedback from travelers about what they want in an airport.
