We all know the story of Lost Dutchman Mine. Whether it exists or not, countless explorers have disappeared searching for its elusive treasure. Treasure Loop Trail takes hikers through the very state park where the mysterious gold is said to be located – and, consequently, where the wandering souls of those who perished on their journey supposedly roam.
A 2.3-mile loop, this moderately-difficult trek winds around the base of the eerie Superstition Mountains. Given the lore surrounding Lost Dutchman Mine, every step you take will be absolutely rife with fear.
