Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park is one of 17 resorts in the Kentucky State Parks system. It’s a true family-style resort where you can choose to spend a few days or visit the park for a few hours of fun.

All of the park’s amenities are conveniently grouped in the same area, so you can grab a weekend meal at the lodge, rent a room for the night, take a hike, rent a pontoon boat, and, of course, visit the beach, all within walking distance of each other. The beach and bathhouse are open to the public daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The sandy beach along the lake is in front of the lodge and offers the same incredible views of the surrounding hills and forest.
