Featuring an impressive collection of carousel pieces, the museum actively restores antique carousel figures and other items. It’s a place where history comes back to life.

Each piece in the museum was restored with the same historically accurate techniques that were originally used to create the pieces. The “painted ponies” here are quite a sight to see.

During your tour, you’ll learn all about the history of the carousel, meet a carver currently working on restoring pieces and board the fully restored Allan Herschell Carousel.

You can visit The Merry-Go-Round Museum from Memorial Day to Labor Day on Monday - Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. During the off-season, you can visit on Wednesday - Saturday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.
