There’s no better place to commune with nature than Wyoming’s Grand Tetons National Park. The park is full of beautiful hiking trails that take you far out into the wild, where you’ll find be surrounded by fragrant pines and stunning views. Here’s one of our favorite trails in the park.
You’ll find the trailhead for the Cascade Canyon Trail at Jenny Lake. Park at the parking lot and hike around the lake, or take the Jenny Lake Boat for a picturesque tour that drops you off right at the trailhead.

This trail is nine miles out and back, and is considered moderately difficult. You’ll gain an elevation of 1,099 feet during your hike.

You’re also likely to see plenty of pika - small, furry mammals related to the rabbit. These cute little guys scamper around through rocky areas and along the little ponds you’ll find next to the trail.

The towering cliffs and sheer rock walls that line the canyon are simply breathtaking. During your hike, you’ll enjoy views of several majestic mountains, including Teewinot Mountain, Grand Teton Mountain, and Mount Owen.
