Don’t forget to wave to the doorman (bouncer) on your way down the stairs. He’s a bit stiff, so don’t fret if he doesn’t wave back.

The Unterhausen Castle Cellar Pub doesn’t disappoint in either decor or food. (The staff is also great!) From the block walls to the wooden beams overhead and the Renaissance light fixtures, the space feels authentic and cozy.

The sharable meatballs are served smothered in red marina and with red cabbage and bread; perfect for two people to enjoy with drinks.

Step up to the entree selections on the menu and you’ll find (no surprise here) Bratwurst served with German potato salad and German kraut. There’s also a Reuben panini that’ll have you coming back for more.
