Gloss Mountain State Park (sometimes called Glass Mountain) is located in Major County, near the city of Fairview. It’s open 365 days a year for hiking, from sunrise to sunset.

The hike to the top of the mountain and back is only 1.5 miles long and is clearly marked.

It’s a short hike but be prepared to walk steep stairs to the top. It’s rated as moderate and will take you to more than 200 feet in elevation.
