The entire downtown area, from Citizens Bank to the Courthouse, is drenched in sparkling lights – 20,000 to be exact.

It’s actually the first year the city’s Courthouse has been decorated for Christmas, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint!

Twinkling lights are just the beginning, though. A 30’ Christmas tree and Christmas music, which is played nightly throughout downtown, also help create a truly magical experience.

Main Street has been the setting for all sorts of holiday fun throughout December – and this weekend is your last chance to take part in some of the festivities.

This upcoming weekend (December 21st – 22nd) is packed with festivities, including a final appearance by Honey Island Clydesdales and trolley rides.

For a cost of $5, you can hop aboard the Columbia Trolley. During your ride, you’ll see a few Christmas lights and hear stories of times past.
