Georgetown Parks and Recreation/Facebook Georgetown, Texas has always prioritized fabulous family-friendly parks and amenities. Their previous playground, built by over 800 local volunteers, stood for over 20 years. After a while, however, the park was in need of drastic renovations.
In 2013, this incredible new playground was built.

In addition to the thrilling slides and swings, Creative Playscape gives a historical overview of this fascinating town and teaches youngsters about what came before them.
They even incorporated pieces of the old playscape into the new design.

This massive piece of art chronicles Georgetown’s past beginning with the Native American tribes situated along the San Gabriel River and ending with modern inventions from the new millennium.
