Have you ever wondered what it was like to take to the sky during World War I, World War II, or any of America’s modern wars? In Dover, you can tour fascinating, historic aircraft that fought for our freedom and hear first-hand experiences from the veterans that crewed them. The Air Mobility Command Museum on the Dover Air Force Base is one museum that everyone in the state will absolutely love.

This tough-as-nails plane was as used during campaigns against the Axis powers in both Europe and the Pacific.
