The restaurant is owned and operated their by a Tohono O’odham family.

The Fry Bread House/Facebook Joedd and Cecelia Miller first opened the restaurant in 1992 before moving to a larger space. The Fry Bread Restaurant gained national recognition in 2012 after it received a James Beard Award for their “American Classics” category. This location on 7th and Hazelwood opened up in 2016 and has been delighting hungry customers ever since.

As its name suggests, this restaurant specializes in Fry Bread dishes.

If you’re not sure what to order, we suggest starting with a classic: the Indian Taco. It features fluffy fry bread topped with beans, lettuce, and cheese.
