This incredible lantern festival, formally known as the New Mexico Chinese Lantern Festival is returning to Albuquerque.

For 8 weeks straight you can experience the magical lanterns that fill Expo New Mexico. This festival is running from October 5th to December 2nd, 2018.

This year will feature all new lanterns that illuminate the sky and offer a magical experience. Even if you’ve been to a lantern fest in the past, it’s nothing like this.

The only reoccurring lantern is the 40-foot-long dragon that can’t be missed.

Other activities include Chinese dancers that perform two nightly shows, with incredible acrobats and synchronized dances.
