How lucky are we that Wisconsin has acres and acres of state parks that protect some of the most gorgeous land? We also have hundreds of amazing restaurants to discover and enjoy. And there’s a path through Mirror Lake State Park that combines two of these most fabulous parts of our amazing state. You’ve probably seen pictures of the fabulous Ishnala Supper Club in the Wisconsin Dells. The gorgeous old wood building peeks out of the forest like it belongs there and sits proudly looking out over the lake. It’s the most beautiful restaurant in the state with the most amazing setting and you can actually hike there.
Mirror Lake State Park is more than 2,000 acres and is home to a lake so still at times that not even a ripple mars the surface. This park is a gorgeous microcosm of what makes this area of the state so awesome, with towering sandstone cliffs. But this park is also amazing for the man-made structures it holds.

You’ll cross the big bridge and take the Echo Rock Trail, which is just 0.6 miles and leads you pretty much right to the door of Ishnala.
