Here in Minnesota, we do winter like nowhere else. It should come as no surprise, given our nearly six months of frigid weather every year, that we’ve come up with more than a few things to entertain ourselves during the year’s coldest season. One community, in particular, takes winter very seriously. The little town of Waseca, Minnesota, has 50 days of winter activities that will make your season unforgettable. Take a look:

This festival is a 50-day winter extravaganza that includes just about everything you can imagine. From January 26 through March 9, 2019, the community gets to gather to make the post-holiday winter months a whole lot more bearable.

And when you get too cold, you can head indoors for all manner of warm activities. Cribbage tournaments, coloring contests, bingo, and more will help chase the winter blues away.
