Farr S Ice Cream In Utah Serves Enormous Portions You Ll Love

There’s no denying it: Utahns love ice cream, and we have some pretty amazing ice cream shops here that serve up huge portions. We recently wrote about Leatherby’s Family Creamery, where you can get some gigantic ice cream confections, but there’s another family ice cream shop that’s been around much longer, and its ice cream is pretty incredible, too.

Farr Better Ice Cream opened in 1920, and the original shop in Ogden has been serving delicious, homemade ice cream ever since. It’s located at 274 E. 21st St., Ogden, UT 84401.

If you haven’t visited the shop since you were a kid, you’re in for a sweet surprise. It’s been renovated to reflect its earlier days, and it’s absolutely charming.

This delicious ice cream is all made right here in Utah. The company has more than 600 recipes locked in its vault, and it maintains at least 75 flavors at all times. Vanilla is the most popular flavor, followed by Play Dough.

One way to try several flavors is to order the Kitchen Sink, which comes with 20 scoops of ice cream! Obviously, we don’t recommend that you try to devour this yourself - bring your whole family along for this one.
