Besides relaxing on the beach, there are several other things to do in Fort Morgan such as visiting the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, spending an afternoon at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, and going on a deep sea fishing trip.

You’ll also want to explore Fort Morgan itself. Even though this historic landmark is surrounded on three sides by sand and water, it doesn’t have access to the beach. With that being said, this masonry fort’s fascinating history makes it well worth the visit.
