Cruises are a great way to have an exciting experience while on vacation. However, sometimes all those little on-board extras can really add up.
If you’re looking to minimize your spending but still have a great time, it makes sense to bring your own wine along for the trip. While most cruise lines don’t allow you to bring alcohol of any kind, there are three lines that will allow you to bring your own wine.

Norwegian Cruise Lines will allow guests to bring wine aboard for personal consumption. Staff will check the bottles prior to embarkation and charge a corkage fee of $15.00 USD for a 750 ml Bottle or $30.00 USD for a 1,500 ml Magnum bottle.

Carnival Cruise Line will allow guests to bring one 750 ml motel of sealed wine or champagne per person. You have to pack it in your carry-on luggage and can expect to pay a $15 corkage fee per bottle.
Royal Caribbean International allows passengers to bring up to two bottles of 750 ml per stateroom. You have to pack it in your carry-on luggage and a $15 corkage fee per bottle applies.
Obviously, the corkage fees mean that it’s hardly worth bringing super cheap vino along for your trip, but bringing your own bottle of nice wine could definitely save you some cash.
