Have you ever wanted to try skydiving, but you’re terrified of jumping out of an airplane? iFly Portland has the perfect solution! It offers a wind tunnel where you’ll feel just like you’re flying – but you’ll be only a few feet off the ground. Check it out:

Did you know that you can go skydiving indoors? You’ll find iFly at 10645 SW Greenburg Road in Portland, and you won’t believe what’s inside.

You’ll start by checking in for your flight. The first-time flyer package is just $69.95, and your experience will last just under two hours.

Put on your flight suit, helmet, and googles and meet your instructor, who will teach you the basics of flying. Then you’ll be introduced to iFly’s flight chamber.

The flight chamber is a wind tunnel with a wall-to-wall air column that mimics skydiving… without the heights. Your instructor will be right there to spot you if you need help, but most people just float blissfully on the column of air during their flight.

Because of the way the flight chamber is designed, you won’t experience any stomach-dropping, nausea, or motion sickness.

Once you’ve experienced your first flight, you’ll want to come back for more! As your skills advance, you’ll learn to do flips and tricks in the wind tunnel.

You’ll have a blast with friends and family members here, and it’s the perfect activity for a birthday party or family get-together. For your first flying experience, you’ll fly alone in the flight chamber while others in your party watch, but with more experience, you can fly with your friends!

Kids as young as three years old are able to fly in the wind tunnel. Until then, they can watch the action and look forward to their own flights!
