When it comes to choosing a carrier to fly within the U.S., travelers are quite lucky to have an assortment to choose from. In a somewhat surprising announcement, America’s sixth largest airline has stated that they will be increasing their checked-bag fees.

If you’re a passenger of JetBlue and have a second bag to check, you’ll be charged an additional $35 or $40.

A change that’s now officially gone into effect, JetBlue’s checked-bag fees aren’t the only increases that travelers are seeing across the board with U.S. carriers.
