Lake Macbride Is A Secluded Swimming Hole In Iowa

Iowa has dozens of state parks, and it’s always a wonder stumbling upon one of the more hidden natural treasures. Lake Macbride is one of the most underrated spots in the state, and their secluded beach is the best spot to cool off from the Iowa sun this summer!

You can find the swimming beach on the lake near the Park Office, and beautiful Day Use Lodge.

The Park Office is located at 3525 Highway 382 NE, Solon, IA 52333. To arrange for a kayak, canoe, paddleboard or pedal boat rental, call 319-624-2315.
