The two man-made beaches are located on either side of the lake. The northern beach, found Bolar Mountain Campground, features a bathroom, picnic tables, and nearby parking lot. The second beach, while smaller, is perfect for kayaking, tubing, or swimming.

The park boasts three campgrounds, each of which offers exquisite views of the water. Bolar Mountain Campground is the largest of the three and offers amenities such as bathrooms and electrical hookups.
