Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area is located on the Missouri River in northeastern Nebraska, just north of Crofton.

This is the second-largest reservoir in the state, right behind Lake McConaughy. We share it with South Dakota, which has its own Lewis and Clark State Recreation Area in Yankton.

Spending time on the lake in any form is one of the most popular reasons people flock to Lewis and Clark SRA. There’s excellent fishing here, but just cruising around the lake also makes for a perfect day outdoors.
