Three cheers for fall! We’ve survived another scorching summer and have been rewarded with a cool, crisp season bursting with rustic colors. But, fall seems to pass by all too quickly, especially with all there is to do in PA. That means we’ve got to jam-pack as much as we can into every colorful moment before the bitter cold and snow arrive. Embrace the slight chill and breathe in the crisp air with an autumn day trip to this Pennsylvania lake that’s hugged by spectacular bursts of gold, orange, and red.
Hugged by lush forests drenched in the colors of fall, Locust Lake State Park stretches across more than 1,700 acres.

And, the park’s masterpiece just might be the shimmering 52-acre Locust Lake, surrounded by trees that mirror off of the water.
