The thriilling enounter with nature takes place among the treetops as visitors cross over swinging bridge after swinging bridge, stopping on treehouse-like platforms in between.

Unlike other swinging bridges in the state, this treetop trail involves more than one bridge. It carries you 50-feet above the ground and through a canopy of trees that’s beautiful all year long.

The park also offers year-round youth and family-oriented events, like their annual River Jamboree taking place the first weekend each year in May. If you missed it this year, then the park has kayak and canoe rentals all year so you can get out on the water any time you wish.

Additionally, more than 3.5 miles of hiking trails, including a boardwalk through the forest, are available. You’ll also find an archery range and a splash pad, perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day.
