Nestled in the heart of Allegheny National Forest, Marilla Bridges Trail spans just one mile. But, that mile will lead you around the historic Marilla Reservoir, which dates back to 1898.

Begin your leisurely hike, along crushed limestone, at the picturesque, wooden Eric Benjamin Covered Bridge.

Then, stop for a moment as you cross the covered bridge to watch the water fall from the spillway and to admire the reflection of the bridge in the water below.

After you emerge from the bridge, stroll around the reservoir. The family-friendly trail is rated easy and welcomes both kids and dogs.

The Marilla Bridges Trail connects to several other trails, including the White Pine Trail. So, if you’re looking for something a bit more challenging, embark on the White Pine Trail.
