Each year, in the town of Plymouth, Indiana, which is located in the northwest quadrant of the state, Marshal County puts on a festival that brings the locals out of the woodwork.

Since 1967, this splendorous event has been a nostalgic pastime for those in the area, and it is certainly worth the trip from anywhere in the state to enjoy the festivities.

This fabulous festival always takes place over Labor Day weekend, which will be August 31 - September 3, 2018. Visitors enjoy a plethora of activities and scheduled events. Find more than 300 craft booths, about 100 food vendors, plus a whole bunch of rides and games that are available just about anytime throughout the fair.

There will also be a parade, tractor shows, live entertainment, an auto show, hot air balloons, fireworks, and much more. This four-day event really does have something for everyone. There are even tournaments for shuffleboard, tennis, bowling, and lifting weights.

While this festival is all about blueberries, don’t expect to find any fresh ones lying around as blueberry season has passed. Instead, you’ll find a plethora of blueberry-themed treats to enjoy.

This festival is free to enter and all entertainment is also open to the public at no cost. Festivities being at 5 p.m. on Friday while those taking place Saturday through Sunday begin as early as 6 a.m and go late into the night.
