Back when Paul Schat’s Bakery opened in the Carson Mall in 2009, the name was already pretty well known. Previously, Schat had created another successful bakery in Mammoth Lakes, California and he was even part of the creation of Schat’s Bakery in Bishop, California.

It’s safe to say that Schat had quite the reputation by the time the Carson City bakery opened less than a decade ago. They decided to open a Nevada location after they closed their Mammoth shop and moved to the little town of Minden.
