Pine Tree Trail Is Best Hike For Panoramic Views In New Mexico

Hiking in the Land of Enchantment is plentiful. With endless mountain ranges, deserts, and rock formations, there are beautiful hiking opportunities everywhere you go. Just outside of Las Cruces you’ll find this 4-mile loop trail in Aguirre Springs National Recreation Area.

This hike should take around 3 hours, so make sure to pack water. If you’re heading out in the early morning, there won’t be much shade.

During this hike, you’ll gain just over 1,000 feet in elevation. Though this trail is classified as a moderate difficulty, some areas are strenuous.
