Potomac, Maryland is located along the – you guessed it – Potomac River. This area is largely known as one of the richest towns in the state, and reality television fans will recognize it from the show The Real Housewives of Potomac.

This area has much more to offer than you may think. Because of its location, outdoorsy attractions await at every turn. We’ll start with Great Falls, which is a Potomac River gem that can be viewed from both the Maryland and Virginia sides.
