The following general store in Danbury is certainly the real deal! Built in 1888, Priddy’s General Store is a true gem – and during the holidays it simply sparkles with charm.
Located 25 miles north of Winston Salem, Priddy’s General Store in Danbury is a real step back in time.

Each year, the holidays bring a special delight to the decor and the items for sale. Outside, the air is filled with a chill, the ground is sometimes covered in snow, and the magical season known as Christmas settles in.

And every year for the last 38 in a row, they take one Saturday in December and thrown an authentic Old Fashioned Christmas Drop In. Pop in on Saturday, December 8, 2018 to sample some Christmas goodies, sip on hot cider, and visit with Santa.

If you can’t quite work the special Old Fashioned Christmas Drop-In into your schedule, then don’t worry; Priddy’s is open six days week. The hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
