Bottineau is home to Pride Dairies, North Dakota’s last small town creamery. It has been around for nearly 90 years. They produce absolutely amazing ice cream, butter, and cheese, but it’s the ice cream that has made them so popular.

Stop inside their little restaurant, Dairy Dipper II, to grab a cone and try it for yourself. They also serve lunch and have a great selection of their products here.

Pride Dairy has tons of different flavors of their scrumptious ice cream. Whether you get the classic vanilla or something yummy like S’mores, you’ll find you love them all. They distribute their ice cream throughout grocery stores in North Dakota, so you might even be able to find some near you if you can’t make the drive all the way up north to Bottineau.

Pride Dairy even makes a special ice cream for Mt. Rushmore that has become one of the most popular flavors at the monument. The “Vintage Vanilla” flavor is based off of a recipe Thomas Jefferson wrote himself that Pride Dairy has recreated and people love. How cool is that?
