One of the most horrifying events of the Halloween season is a trail that will drive you absolutely mad. Located in Southern Indiana, the Psycho Path takes place in the woods around Sleeping Bear Retreat on the edge of the Hoosier National Forest.

Every Friday and Saturday in October, a cast of creepy characters come to life to hide in the woods and wait for patrons to terrorize. Beginning at dark, this eerie event is actually comprised of several attractions in one.

The main event is the haunted trail, which costs $10 per person. Each ghoul is more frightening than the next, and guests should be prepared for beheadings and abductions.

Facebook/Psycho~Path For those who wish to enjoy the path without the frights, the Little Psycho Path is available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and costs just $5 to enter. It is geared towards kids ages 5 and up and features games and prizes.

There is also a paintball zombie hunt that costs $15 per person. With little light to use as a guide, participants will scour the fields for the undead.

The final attraction you don’t want to miss is the dead end maze. For $5, you can enter at your own risk to see what lies at the end of this labyrinth of nightmares.

In addition to frights, there will also be photo opportunities to commemorate your brave journey through this haunted trail. Be sure to get your picture taken in the Psycho Path coffin before you leave.
