Redland Family Farm is a family-owned and operated Christmas tree farm just south of Portland, in Oregon City. The farm welcomes the public every year for a special Christmas tree festival.

This year, to preserve a healthy stock of trees, the festival runs for just two days - December 1st and 2nd. When you visit, you’ll find pre-cut trees to choose from, or you can grab a handsaw and go for a stroll through the farm to cut down your own.

Step carefully! The farm has trees of all sizes growing here, and you don’t want to step on a tiny tree that still has some growing to do.

Once you’ve found the tree of your dreams, get to work! The staff here will help you as you saw your way through the trunk.

Then they’ll give the tree a shake and a bale (this is where they shake all the bugs and loose needles off, then tie it up nice and tight for the ride home).

The fun doesn’t stop once you’ve loaded your tree onto the car! You’ll definitely want to pop into the barn and say hello to Santa Claus.
