Take a walk down memory lane as you revisit The Mother Road at Lucille’s Roadhouse in Weatherford. This charming dining establishment is filled with Route 66 memorabilia, and for over a decade, has been feeding travelers delicious food and taking them back to the glory days of America’s Main Street. It’s housed in the original Lucille’s Gas Station that began in 1927, with the addition of more space. Lucille’s has been known as the Mother of the Mother Road and it not only a staple restaurant but one that’s filled with history.
Lucille’s Roadhouse is located in western Oklahoma at 1301 North Airport Road in Weatherford. The new Lucille’s opened in 2006 and has been paying tribute to The Mother Road ever since.
