River Riders Family Adventure Resort is an adventure park where fun is the rule of the day. They take their name from the many tours they provide on the nearby Shenandoah River. Tours can either be guided by a member of the staff or self-guided.

The park also offers what it calls the Aerial Adventure Park. At the AAP, you can take an adventure above the ground and through the trees.

There are unique courses and obstacles along the way, which includes ziplines, rope bridges, and various other inventive ways to travel across the park.

Some of the most popular adventure packs include the Zipline Canopy Tour, which is ideal for families; the Two-Hour Adventure Course that takes you across the entire park; and several packages in the water, including kayaking, canoeing, tubing, and stand-up paddle boarding.

Of course, with all this adventure, you may want to stay for a few days. If that is the case, the resort offers overnight lodging and meals. This way, you can also have some down time to relax on the water and enjoy the day.
