When everyone tells you that the best hikes in Wyoming are way out in the Tetons or in Yellowstone, you know they’ve never actually explored our great state. There are so many hikes elsewhere – in the Wind River Range, in the Bighorns and in Shoshone National Forest! There are even a few hidden gems waiting to be discovered. One such place is right in Capser, and Bridle Trail in Rotary Park is something you’ve got to hike this summer.

Bridle Trail in Rotary Park is a short, 3.2-mile out and back that takes you to one of the best lookouts near Casper.
