Located in Sparks is a sporting goods store that is bigger than five football fields put together. Scheels is one of the best places to go for all of your sporting needs, but it could also be considered the weirdest store in America. There’s a lot more to this place than you would expect.

First of all, you’ll be blown away by the size. This place looks more like a mall than it does a single store! The 295,000-square-foot space is considered the largest sporting goods store in the world and we definitely believe it.

It isn’t long before you realize there are all sorts of cool oddities about this store that go beyond sporting goods. For example, one of the first sights you may come across are these two 16,000-gallon aquariums stocked full of both freshwater and tropical ocean fish.

Did you happen to notice the giant Ferris Wheel in one of the previous pictures? Of course you did. We’re pretty sure this is the only store in Nevada with a 1930s vintage ride like this one located smack dab in the middle. And yes, you can definitely ride it!

One of the strangest attractions in the store is the “Walk of Presidents” which features 14 wax representations of historic U.S. presidents. Check out figures like Teddy Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and lots more.
