Sunflower Balloon Fest Facebook In Anthony, Kansas, about an hour away from most of Wichita, you’ll find an exciting event happening this next weekend. Hot air balloons will take to the skies Friday, Saturday, and Sunday as long as the weather permits. The festival starts Friday evening, but Saturday is the main event.
Not only will you see balloons during your visit, but there’s also plenty more to do here, depending on which day you visit.

There’s something so majestic about a giant balloon floating through the air, without a care in the world.
