Surfside Beach is a delightful city along the waterfront that’s overflowing with charm — and you might never want to leave.
Despite being not too far from Houston, Surfside had a population of less than 600 in 2016. It’s truly the perfect destination for a relaxing family trip without all the traffic and pesky tourists.

Surfside has everything you’d expect of a beach town, only on a smaller scale. Tropical cafes, charming shops, and an old-fashioned downtown district provide entertainment when you get bored of the beach (if that’s even possible).
