Take A Cemetery Hike At Lowell Lake State Park In Vermont

Vermont’s State Parks are some of the best in New England. They offer scenic views and the opportunity for many different kinds of activities. Each one is a state treasure in its own way. Today’s featured state park is most popular for its stunning lake, but what makes it unique is a cemetery hike that takes you to a place of Revolutionary War era history.

Lowell Lake State Park in Londonderry is an undeveloped forest land surround a beautiful lake. The natural gem became a state park in 1977 and additional acreage was added to the park in 1996.

Embark on the Lowell Lake Trail for a scenic 3.5-mile looped journey that hugs the lake shores.

The trail is mostly flat and considered just a moderate hike. Engulfed in the woodlands, you’ll feel as though you’ve entered a quiet world of your own.
