The historic steam locomotives owned by this railroad were built in the early 1900s. Not many steam locomotives run these days, and this is a chance to enjoy a slice of history and the beautiful colors of fall all at once.

The train offers both open-air cars and covered cars in case of inclement weather. You’ll travel through fields and forests all along the way, and you’ll definitely want to bring your camera along on this trip!

Something else to bring along? Your furry friend! Dogs are welcome on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. To ensure that there’s plenty of room for your pup, the railroad asks that you sits in an open-air car for your excursion.
