You can spend a lifetime exploring Utah’s hiking trails, and you’ll find something for every skill level here. Many of the hikes we bring you are perfect for even small children; this one is a bit strenuous for small children, but makes for a fabulous afternoon of hiking for more experienced adventurers. It’s considered strenuous, but the waterfalls and views make it well worth your effort.

The Grove Creek and Battle Creek Loop Trail starts in Pleasant Grove and makes its way up a canyon, along a creek through a meadow, and past two waterfalls.

The hike takes you in an 8.2-mile loop, and you’ll gain a total of 2,644 feet of elevation along the way.

As the trail skirts along the side of the mountain, it can be a bit narrow and slippery. If you’re hiking with kids, take it slow and keep a close eye on them.
