If you grew up here in Montana, you’ve probably heard of pasties — and you also probably know they have nothing to do with tassels. The pasty is a savory baked pastry frequently associated with Cornwall… and Montana. They’ve been a local favorite in Butte since the late 1800s when miners filled up on the hearty meat-filled pies after a long day of work.
