There’s nothing like a relaxing drive down one of Montana’s scenic highways to remind us of just how lucky we are to live here. And as much as we’d like to see them all, most of us won’t be able to dedicate that much time to driving. But if you’re able to check out these 5 scenic byways, you’ll be off to a fantastic start.

  1. Beartooth Highway

  1. Lake Koocanusa Scenic Byway

  1. National Bison Scenic Byway

But if you take Red Sheep Mountain Road, proceed with caution – the inclines are so steep that trailers are banned.

  1. Big Sky Backcountry Byway

  1. Going-to-the-Sun Road

We’re so lucky to live in a big, beautiful state with so many scenic drives. Here are some country roads you’ll want to explore.
