If you are interested in fishing, there are man fish in the lake including Dolly Varden, excellent April to November; Sockeye, excellent July and August; Rainbow trout, fair June to November.

The lake is a popular place to view bears during salmon season from June-August. There is a “salmon ladder” where salmon can be seen leaping, a prime spot for bear feeding.
