From the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis to the Aerial Lift Bridge in Duluth, Minnesota is full of beautiful spans that act as landmarks for the Land of 10,000 Lakes. But the list of notable bridges doesn’t end there. In fact, there are many bridges across the state that make great hikes. One of the best is at Jay Cooke State Park. Take a look:

The park is full of trails that will take you on an unforgettable adventure through the woods. To see the bridge, try the Silver Creek Trail.

Though the trail is not paved, it should be moderately easy for most hikers. Small hills and occasional mud will make it difficult for some. Be sure to come prepared!

As for the bridge, it may just be the most beautiful part of this short hike. The bridge’s imposing stone pillars are impressive as you walk up to it…

Even better, the view of the river from the middle of the bridge is breathtaking. Be sure to bring a camera to capture the wild sight of this northern Minnesota river!
