There’s no better way to kick off the fall season than with a visit to a pumpkin patch – and we’ve found the perfect one. Located in Collins, Mitchell Farms features hundreds of acres, lots of pumpkins, and plenty of seasonal fun for the entire family. Take a look:

In business since 1960, Mitchell Farms encompasses 1,500 acres deep in the piney woods of southeast Mississippi.

Each fall, the farm gets even more charming with the opening of its pumpkin patch. This year, the pumpkin patch will be open September 29 – November 10, 2018.

Aaron Green/Google During this time, the farm is open Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The pumpkins are grown on the farm and then brought in from the fields, so there’s plenty to choose from.

But it’s much more than pumpkins galore at the farm.

Aside from a pumpkin from the patch, the $12-admission also includes a wagon tour of the farm as well as access to the corn maze, sunflower field, and play areas.
